DAMMAM, 9 April 2003 — Businesswomen in the Eastern Province are to discuss their role in the market during a symposium for businesswomen to be held at the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce and Industry here on Sunday.
Abdul Rahman Al-Rashid, the president of the chamber, will deliver the keynote address through close circuit TV, Ibrahim Al-Olayan, secretary-general of the chamber, said. He said the symposium was open to all businesswomen with plans to invest in the region. All the businesswomen registered with the chamber have already been invited.
One of the objectives of the chamber was to compile data on businesswomen in the region to help formulate future action plans, he added.
