TAIF, 26 April 2003 — Members of a new Board of Directors for Pakistan International School in Taif were elected on Thursday.
Results were announced by a five-member election panel comprising two parents, the school principal and Muhammad Al-Ghamdi from the Saudi Ministry of Education and Tariq Malik from the Consulate General of Pakistan.
Chaudhry Zahid Javed secured the highest number of votes with 71, while Asad Ali Nawazish received 44 votes, Masroor Ameer Ansari 40, Dr. M. Tariq 39 votes, M. Zubair Khan 34, and Dr. Abdul Rasheed and Dr. M Aslam 29.
