RIYADH, 30 April 2004 — Snap Shots 4 were back in the race for honors, as they took both the team and individual awards on the 12th week of the United Electronics Co. (EXTRA) Tuesday Night Bowling League 4th Conference at the Riyadh Bowling Club lanes.
Snap Shots 4 carded top totals of 24 points and pinfalls of 3,307 in the big win over Blue Blood who returned total pinfalls of 3,088 and 13 points.
Lito Marukot clinched Bowler of the Week honors. He shot the high series of 890 on games of 191, 205, 204, 170 and 120 handicap.
RBC Patriots continued their amazing championship run, turning back ABV RG 22-18 on total pinfalls of 3,256 and 3,236. Top Gun suffered a 17-15 defeat by Starstrucks on total pinfalls of 3,033 and 3,003, while Untouch-A-Bowl and Triple “R” posted lopsided victories over Ara Bowlers 21-11 and KIA’s Pride 21-14 on total pinfalls of 3,188-2,986 and 3,139-3,084 respectively.
The unmatched team of the week in action, Xtreme OPS, compiled 20 points and total pinfalls of 3,031 in the four-man team league event.
With Marukot showing the way, Toto Ganza and Nap Torres made sure Marukot’s efforts were not wasted with 860 and 832 respectively, while Danny Francisco sealed Snap Shots’s fine win with 725.
Raman Gurung at 839 and Fernie Ballano at 826 led an Untouch-A-Bowl attack that also contained 782 from Arnold Marchan and 741 from Ming Barnachea.
Triple “R” were led by Ding Balagtas with 835. Jerome Mercado contributed 800, Romy Zafe 798 and Gary Climaco 706. Starstrucks netted 823 from Cris Sibayan, 821 from Mikee Alcaraz and 727 from Ricky Talde.
