RIYADH, 21 May 2004 — Jeff Berdon and Raffy Semilla registered impressive marks in Kruathai Restaurant team's spreadsheet beating the Salem Al-Zahrani (Al Tazaj) team during the 6th week of action of the Filipino Community Basketball League (FCBL) at the 8th Contracting Compound, Exit 12 Riyadh.
Al Zahrani team's Lito Cabatac played his best game ever recording 35 points, 32 rebounds and 4 steals but his effort was in vain.
Coach Mac Narona's Kruathai team members Jeff Berdon, Raffy Semilla, Julius Santiago, Dick Uy, Jun Gantan and Sandy Fugaban paved the way for their team to take the lead in the first three quarters.
Despite Ruben Aquino's Al-Tazaj boyz Lito Cabatac, Denmark Moreno, Lemar Regalado, James Valenton and Romeo Namacpacan pushing themselves to the limit in the fourth the cushion built up by Kruathai was ebough to see them win 94-86.
Robert Singue once again proved his expertise in the hardcourt for the Flashers team of Coach Rey Perez to get their first win at the expense of Benette, 71-59.
Singue was supported by Arnold Sampani, Nomer Ecamen, Mike Salvador and Allan Alarcon in this triumph while Joe Culminas' Benette team scorers were Glenn Layson, Richard Menor, Jun Flomentira, Roel Paller and Edward Panlilio.
