JEDDAH, 28 May 2004 — The "Master's Cup" - the Quest for Power PHILMASA International Karate/Kickboxing Tournament and Martial Arts Exhibition under the auspices of the Consulate General of the Philippines is to kick off on June 18 and will continue on to the following Friday (June 25).
This martial arts event, hosted by the Philippine Martial Arts Sports Association (PHILMASA) International, under the leadership of Master Ernesto "Nestor" C. Suliva, 9th Dan Black Belt, Founder/Chief Instructor of PAMAC International and PHILMASA International is part of the scheduled events in the month of celebration of the 106th Philippine Independence Day.
Zahid Tractor, Bin Zomah Co. (Safa Water), SADAFCO, ABS-CBN The Filipino Channel (TFC), SkyFreight Forwarders, Giordano, Saudi Industrial Projects Company (SIPCO), Al-Hussaini & Co. (Seiko), Filipino International Martial Arts Association (FIMAA), Philippine Arbokaido Martial Arts Club (PAMAC) International and GUARDIANS International Incorporated (GII) are the sponsors of the event.
This Invitational tournament will be held from 4:00 p.m to 11:00 p.m. The venue is the Philippine Consulate premises along Al Faisaliah District I. Thirty top martial arts clubs, associations and federations from the Western Region, with 500 participants, will be seen in action.
