ASIR, 18 June 2004 — Basketball enthusiast in Abha and Khamis Mushayt, witnessed the opening of 2nd Filcomak, or Filipino community held at the Filipino Compound, Al-Saraf Village, cage contest in Abha.
This tournament is spearheaded by Filcomak. CLG-Samsung won 65-60 against Mizpah-MOI with Jun Regalado and Salmo scoring 21 and 18 points each. In the 2nd game, Abha Genesis won the game 51-42 against D'Acts AFH through the heroics of Ricky Lumbo, Ismael and Anton Doronila, who scored 18, 13, and 9 points respectively for the winners. Twelve teams took part in this three-month long tournament from May 28 to August 21 2004.
