JEDDAH, 18 June 2004 — Saudi General Insurance (SGI) elected to bat first after winning the toss against Nader Toor team in the Jeddah Cricket League Division II Championship match at the Khalid Kanoo ground.

Azeem made 26 and Abdurrub 23, but none of the other SGI batsmen were able to resist the tight line and length bowling of Nader Toor, who grabbed 3 vital wickets and Murtuza, Nadeem, Raheel and Naveed managed to take a wicket each to bundle out SGI for 113 all out in 18 overs.

The final was to be 20 overs per side match of the Division II Friday League.

In reply, Nader Toor's opener Murtuza hit 47 runs off just 21 balls with the help of six hits to the fence and Nader blasted 52 off only 31 balls by hitting three boundaries and a huge six in his stylish knock to take the match away from SGI.

Nader Toor reached the target, 115 for 3 wickets, in only 12.3 overs. Anees, Mujeeb and Qamar managed to take a wicket each for their team as Nader Toor won this prestigious Division II Friday League final by 7 wickets.
