OSoft.com has rolled out the first O’Reilly Media title, “MySQL in a Nutshell,” in the ThoutReader format. The ThoutReader is an open source (GPL 2.0) documentation platform that allows developers to browse, search, bookmark, and append their favorite library of reference documentation and code as well as reference books — from one program, at the same time — even offline.
The ThoutReader format makes titles more actionable by providing quick searches and content retrieval. This is particularly useful in code-heavy titles where readers can copy/paste code. The ThoutReader and all available content can be downloaded at www.osoft.com.
