JEDDAH, 1 December 2005 — Playing as a mediator, Mansour Al-Balawi, the president of Al-Ittihad Club, brought peace between the warring coach of the club Anghel Iordanescu and striker Marzook Al-Otaibi. The two were at odds after Otaibi spat at the coach and left training in a fit of anger. Balawi settled the spat before the team leaves for Malaysia for training camp.
