RIYADH, 6 December 2005 — Al-Shabab president, Khalid Al-Baltan, signed international Saudi defender Ahmed Al-Bahri to a one-year deal worth SR1 million. Previously with Al-Ittifaq club in Dammam, Bahri is to join Shabab after the end of West Asia Games in Doha.

Ahli Letting Rogerio Go

JEDDAH, 6 December 2005 — Al-Ahli said they will terminate the contract of Brazilian striker, Rogerio, following the drop in his level of performance. Rogerio suffered several injures of late and was unable to mount a comeback. In his more than two years with Ahli Rogerio scored a lot of goals that made him the best foreign player to ever wear the green and white jersey of the Jeddah-based club.
