RIYADH, 11 December 2005 — Indian Ambassador M.O.H. Farook was the chief guest at a function organized by Osmania University Old Boys’ NRI Association (OUOBNA) at the Indian Embassy auditorium on Thursday night to honor the alumni of Osmania University — Javid Hassan of Arab News, Shahid Ali Khan (Saudi Gazette), K.N. Wasif (Urdu News) and Ghous Arasalan (Munsif, Urdu daily from Hyderabad, south India)—for their long association with their respective newspapers.
Earlier, OUOBNA president Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan welcomed the ambassador and said the association was launched to serve the Osmanians. Shah Gulam Subhani, general secretary, presented a report on OUOBNA’s activities.
