BHOPAL, 15 December 2005 — The Indian pioneer engineering company, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd., (BHEL), has declared an all-time-high 40 percent interim equity dividend for the year 2005-06. Earlier, this year, BHEL had paid 35 percent dividend. Besides BHEL has been maintaining its track record of providing dividend since last 30 years. According to an official press release issued here this week, BHEL, by maintaining its excellent record of continuous profit making, during the year 2004-05, earned Rs.9.53 billion profit, which shows 45 percent increase.
