BALJURASHI, 20 December 2005 — In a rare case, a 50-year-old mother filed a lawsuit against her son in a local court in Baha area, Riyadh daily reported. The mother demanded that police must jail her son because he was spending a lot of time outside the home and school. She wanted police to help her discipline her child, either by forcing him to go to school or holding him at a juvenile-detention center. The judge threw out the case, saying that the son was not suspected of committing any actual crime.
