ABHA, 22 December 2005 — Governor of Asir Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, announced the establishment of a joint-stock tourism company in the region with a SR1 billion capital. The company will be called Asir Cost Tourism Projects Company. The aim of the company is to take advantage of the unique aspects available in 140 kilometers in Asir on the Red Sea by providing investment opportunities in resorts, diving sites and entertainment facilities.
