AL-JOUF, 27 December 2005 — A Saudi woman waiting in the delivery room received an unexpected visitor, Al-Jazirah reported. The woman screamed for doctors after a black scorpion emerged from beneath her bed. The scorpion escaped before hospital staff could apprehend it. The woman was moved to another room and her room was left vacant until the unwelcome visitor was eliminated.
