Saudi Arabia’s Techwonders Co. recently signed a SR60 million agreement with a major Taiwan company dealing in IT and telecommunications technology. The agreement is aimed to provide the Saudi market with latest IT products developed according to the local requirements. Techwonders Co. Deputy Chairman Samer Jabir, who signed the accord, said the agreement would enable providing the local market in particular and the Egyptian and other Middle East markets in general with latest communications and information technologies. “According to the agreement, we’ll be the sole agents for the products of our Taiwan partner in the region and develop them in accordance with the requirements of the ME markets,” Jabir said. “Such Saudi-Taiwan cooperation deals will be able to create and develop new advanced products in keeping with market demands.” Taiwan Corporation Chairman Jin Meng Gau expressed his happiness over the deal reached with a major Saudi firm in the field of IT and communications solutions.
