JEDDAH, 8 January 2006 — A Jeddah executive and social worker has been invited to receive the Hind Ratan Award on the eve of India’s Republic Day on Jan. 25. Manhohar Ullal, co-manager at Jeddah-based Kassab Media Marketing will be among 30 non-resident Indians (NRIs) from the world over receiving the award at the 25th international congress of NRIs being hosted by the New Delhi-based NRI Welfare Society of India from Jan. 24-28. Thirty NRIs from various parts of the world were honored with the award at the 24th international congress of NRIs held in the presence of senior federal ministers and other high-level dignitaries in New Delhi last year. Ullal, 50, who hails from Mangalore in south India, has qualified and specialized in modern labor management, human resource development, and income tax. He has 25-year experience with multinational companies in the Gulf. “My social obligations are duly met with no expectations,” Ullal says.
