JEDDAH, 24 January 2006 — The cancer support group of adult hematology and bone marrow transplant section of King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center’s oncology department is holding a patient care day for the blood cancer and bone marrow transplant patients today.
The event will start at 4 p.m. at the hospital’s main auditorium. The goal is to give cancer survivors, their family members and caregivers an opportunity to share their experiences, according to Dr. Abdul Shukkoor, coordinator of the group.
