ALKHOBAR, 24 January 2006 — Al-Qadiseya management has terminated the contract of the Brazilian coach Gomes and filled the vacancy by signing Abdul Ghani Bunasri. The team’s poor performance was cited as the reason by club officials for sacking Gomes. The new coach will arrive in Alkhobar in two days’ time to assume control over the football team.

The Ahli club management requested Al-Hazem to have the kickoff time moved from 7:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. because of the cold weather. If both clubs reach an agreement, they will contact the General Presidency of Youth Welfare for final approval.
