RIYADH, 17 February 2006 — Isuzu Motors Co. of Japan has posted a 50 percent sales growth in the Middle East last year compared to 2004, shattering its previous records.

To mark the occasion, Abdullatif Alissa Co., agent for Isuzu cars in the Kingdom, hosted a reception at its facility on Wednesday for the visiting Japanese delegation led by R. Yamazaki, general manager of Isuzu Motors Co. and Tomoyama, general manager of the Mitsubishi Corporation in the Kingdom, and other members of the delegation from the two companies.

They were received by Abdulmohsen Alissa, chairman and Executive President of the Abdullatif Alissa Group, Ziad Alissa, vice executive president , and Hisham Khartabil, the company’s CEO.

Speaking on the occasion, Yamazaki paid tributes to the Alissa Group for its role in contributing to the success of the marketing blitz. He attributed the success not only to the car’s performance on the road but also to the after-sale service of the Alissa Group.

The company honored outstanding salesmen for their performance in various regions. Yamazaki also expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality extended to the visiting delegation. Abdulmohsen Alissa and Hisham Khartabil also spoke.
