AL-DARB, 22 February 2006 — A burial of a 50-year-old man who died from a heart attack in Al-Darb got creepy when a one-meter-long snake decided to attend the ritual, Al-Watan daily reported. The hole for the burial turned out to be an ideal location for the serpent to get out of the mid-day heat. The funeral attendees, struck with a collective case of the heebie-jeebies at the sight of the snake, decided to bury the creature along with the dead.
