DAMMAM, 2 March 2006 — “An empowered investor is the need of the hour. In today’s global concept, investing has become all the more convenient and gives more opportunities for bettering ones savings. One only needs to have the right orientation.”
These were the thoughts expressed during a function organized last Friday by the Hyderabad Deccan Connection, Jubail.
“The reason why we opted for this theme for the function was because more and more people are having savings which they wish to invest for profitable returns,” said Wahid Latif, the chief organizer of the forum.
The keynote address set the session in motion when it was highlighted that with the right attitude and orientation, each individual had the potential to become an investor, but with caution. Some guidelines were provided by one of the speakers. Some tips were also given in case one was planning to invest in the real estate market.
“ It was a good session and I actually benefited a lot. I was always a tentative investor but after this session, I am now more confident. I think most of the people attending would try to utilize their savings in a better manner,” opined Akhtar Hasnain, an IT specialist. Following the session, children presented mono acts and other light hearted programs.
