DAMMAM, 12 March 2006 — After the struggle of elections that continued for a whole week, the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EPCCI) chose six businessmen to form the administrative board with the 12 elected members.
All but two members gathered yesterday to elect a president for the board. Mohammed S. Al-Farraj and Salman M. Al-Jishi were abroad at the time.
The meeting ended with the unsurprising board election of Abdulrahman R. Al-Rashed as president, Maan A. Al-Sanae first vice president, Saud A. Al-Gosaibi second vice president, and Rashed A. Al-Suwaiket as a delegate. Al-Rashed and Al-Sanae were re-elected to the positions they already held.
