JEDDAH, 15 March 2006 — Developments concerning women’s health will be discussed at a conference being held at the Jeddah InterContinental Hotel from March 21-22. More than 25 researchers and specialists in the field of women’s health from the Kingdom and abroad will present their papers and case studies at the conference organized by King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center-Jeddah. “The conference — the hospital’s fourth — aims to provide updates on clinical information about various medical specialties related to women’s health,” Dr. Lina Bissar, internist and chairwoman of the organizing committee, said yesterday. Speakers will cover subjects including breast cancer, which is one of the most common problems among women, heart diseases, blood pressure, osteoporosis, pregnancy, abortion, obesity and overweight.
