PIA being the launch customer of newly inducted B777-200 LR state-of-the-art aircraft is on its way to achieve its ambitions by flying non-stop from all Pakistan gateways to Toronto, New York and Chicago.
New destinations are being added to the network and the fleet is being replaced with new aircraft, a PIA press release said. In a bid to improve service, the airlines spokesmen outlined various facilities that are being offered to its customers like toll free number 800-8440524 24 hours a day - 7 days a week, award plus frequently flyer program, advance seat selection by logging on to www.piac.com.pk and besides choice of meal.
PIA achieved excellent performance during Umrah and Haj with highest regularity and negligible complaints. This has been achieved by tactical planning by mounting capacity in advance and issuance of advance boarding card. It helped our people to perform hastle-free Umrah.
During Haj operations, PIA operated 58 flights to Madinah. The management strongly feels the more facilitation and easing the problems of our pilgrims has left excellent impression of the airline on the pilgrims and has resulted in increase of demand.
The performance of the team in Saudi Arabia is excellent and are striving hard to achieve desired targets. A general feeling of excellent service on an equitable basis in airlines with the enforcement of airlines regulation with no preferential treatment has caused revival of confidence in the airline. Convenience, competitive, comfort, courtesy and care remain the main emphasis.
The management is confident of meeting customer demands with fully automated system and new customer driven approach. A new flight to Lahore from Jeddah on Sunday morning has been added effective March 28, 2006.
All preparation are under way for effective implementation to welcome the Guests of Allah. PIA has also started the operation of B777 aircraft on their schedule flights.
