JEDDAH, 23 February 2007 — Nadec Dairy did some damage control after a forgettable performance the previous week and how.

Nadec Dairy pooled 47.5 points that gave them the Team of the Week award and the lead after the fourth session in the ICBL (Inter-Company Bowling League) 20th Conference at Jeddah Lanes here.

A week after they finished near the bottom of the points race Nadec had a good day out on the lanes to notch their second honors in three weeks.

The first week honoree, D’Ultimate, also bounced back from a poor performance by scoring 43 points, right behind Sky Freight Forwarders who were second on the day with 44 points.

Saudi Diyar and Al-Mottawer were equal on 36 points and XXX Bowlers, V Express and Naser Al-Hajri equal as well on 34 followed by MC Hammer on 27 points.

Splitters were on 25.5 points. Filling up the last four places at the end of the session were Kulisap n Moe 21, A. R. Namlah 16, Western Union 12 and Suzuki 10.

Nadec Dairy’s day began with a good omen when they won the first game. They then stayed out of trouble the rest of the way as the rest of the teams saw their fortunes fluctuate wildly during the four-phased contest.

Making sure that Nadec Dairy were in good hands was FTBJ President Rally Zamora who led all scorers with a sparkling series of 727.

N. Ledda, Jerry Arcos and P. Parina gave the support to Zamora carding 558, 536 and 497, while the bankable pair of Hero Garcia and Igna Salgado tallied 208-182 and 246.

Sky Freight bowled steady all day long with Fred Monson and Edu Toledo at the helm with 597 and 584. Y. Santos and L. Escondo came through with 565 and 552, while Goying Salazar chipped in with 225-212 and Rod Salazar tossed in 165.

Putting the disappointing third week behind them D’ Ultimate received 631 from Ray Thompson, 619 from Pancho Cuevas, 584 from Ed Viray and a pair of 550s from A. Sacdo and Jay Perez.

Class O bowlers Raul delos Reyes and Roger Daquioag shot the big numbers at Saudi Diyar with 603 and 667. T. Grandia at 565 and Priz Calidro at 493 were the two others to do full games, while E. Domingo made 130-159 and R. Parinas 150. Mottawer drew pretty solid performances from Majid Aslani 674, Zaki Yassin 643 and M. Lourdes 545. Completing the team scores were Kamal with 512 and P. Acato with 545.

XXX had an up and down display and were unable to prevent a Nadec takeover at the top of the standings, while Kulisap slid to sixth from second despite the 640 from Nonie Yap and 612 from Dhads Gueco.
