JEDDAH, 13 April 2007 — The Students Affairs Department at the King Abdul Aziz University (KAU) is holding a three-day event entitled “Aspiring Women without Crises” to discuss the psychological wellbeing of girls and the problems they face.
The event, which is open to women attendees, starts on Sunday at 9.30 a.m. with a speech by Samar Al-Saggaf, dean at KAU and ends at 9 p.m. On Monday and Tuesday the event will start at 10 a.m. until 9 p.m.
The event is being held at the KAU Conferences and Ceremonies Hall.
The event will see 28 lectures that will focus on enriching girls with social skills on how to deal with and solve problems.
Lectures entitled “How to have a Dialogue with our Children?” and “My Daughter Says She is Free to do Whatever she Wants” are aimed especially at mothers, who are also welcome to attend.
