AMMAN, 14 April 2007 — Saudi Arabian and Jordanian businesses planned to launch a $700 million venture during a gathering of leading figures from the private sectors of the two countries due to be held in Amman on Monday. The venture, The Development of Jordanian Saudi Projects Company, will be set up by the joint Saudi-Jordanian Business Council with participation from several funds in the two countries, Chairman of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce Haider Murad said on Thursday.
