JEDDAH, 15 April 2007 — Prince Faisal bin Salman, chairman of Saudi Research & Marketing Group (SRMG), is currently visiting Tokyo at the invitation of the Japanese Foreign Ministry. The SRMG chief is expected to hold talks with a number of Japanese officials and businessmen including deputy ministers of trade and foreign affairs, an official statement said.
Prince Faisal’s itinerary includes meetings with prominent personalities in the print and electronic media as well as in the production and printing sectors. “He will also meet with businessmen representing various economic and investment activities,” the statement said.
Saudi Ambassador to Japan Faisal Tarad hosted a dinner in honor of the prince on Wednesday. The banquet was attended by a large number of Arab diplomats and Japanese businessmen.
