JEDDAH, 21 April 2007 — He had already spent a total of 14 years in prison before he luckily found a woman willing to marry him. But he pushed his luck, and now finds himself a bachelor behind bars. According to a report in yesterday’s Al-Watan newspaper a small-time drug dealer from Madinah thought it would be a really good idea to do a quick drug run on the very day of his wedding. Well, wouldn’t you know it! He was busted by Saudi anti-drug authorities; caught red-handed with a handful of hash. And now the weddings ruined and the unlucky pusher is facing a few more years behind the bars of a Saudi jail cell.
