Saudi Readymix, a major manufacturer and supplier of ready-mixed concrete and related products in Saudi Arabia, reached a staggering monthly production of 300,000 cubic meters of concrete in March 2007. To commemorate the achievement, a celebration was held at each station honoring all Saudi Readymix employees for their dedication and contribution to this outstanding milestone. “This production goal, which was set in the summer of 2006, represents a major achievement for us. To put this achievement in perspective, 300,000 cubic meters produced in a month’s time is enough to build 1,000 medium-sized villas, or cover 60 football pitches with a one meter thick layer of concrete,” said Saudi Readymix President Rami Khalid Alturki. Saudi Readymix ensures regular and adequate supply.

SUZUKI SAUDIA

Suzuki Saudia, the sole distributor of Suzuki vehicles in the Kingdom, has claimed an overwhelming response to the SX4, the company’s latest offering in the market, prompting a request for an additional delivery of SX4s. As purchases continue climbing at the company’s Jeddah showroom, Suzuki Saudia has assured customers that all purchase requests will be met as additional shipments have been booked for the car. Stocks of the SX4 have already run out after more than 100 units were sold within a month of the car’s launch. With the demand greatly outweighing the initial release, Suzuki Saudia has been compelled to place some of the buyers on a waiting list as the company awaits the next batch of SX4s to arrive next week. “Clients are pouring into our showrooms to check out the SX4. The warm reception by the consumers has been the result of excellent product quality,” Sales Manager Ahmed Al-Shamaile said.
