DAMMAM, 14 May 2007 — Fehied Al-Shareef, Governor of the Saline Water Conversion Corporation, recently chaired a meeting of the various desalination plants in the eastern coast to find solutions to the difficulties faced by the employees in the performance of their duties.
Through its computer network, any employee can retrieve all the information they require and save a lot of time.
Hamadan Al-Dousari, director of administrative matters, unveiled the corporation’s new project called “Barnamaj Tawasul” which enables the administration to communicate with the employees electronically and weed out the use of paper for their official works.
The corporation has a budget of SR2.9 billion for new projects and constructions, to renovate and increase the efficiency of the plants and storage capacity for the current year. The upgrades will also enable the headquarters in Riyadh to track the storage facilities at various parts in the country. The corporation also aims at attracting private investments in the new projects.
