DAMMAM, 20 May 2007 — Two Indian laborers were arrested on Friday in this Eastern Province city on suspicion of murdering a Nepali national whose body was discovered in a farm building outside of town.

Authorities said the victim worked on the farm and was 50 years old. Evidence collected near the body led police to the suspects.

Police said the men confessed to the crime and that the motive was a dispute over the price of a bottle of black market liquor.

In another development here, a Filipino was killed in a road accident when a car driven by a Saudi youth ran over the expatriate in the Zahur district in Dammam. The body is being kept in the mortuary in the Central Dammam Hospital during investigations into the accident.
