JEDDAH, 22 May 2007 — Consular teams of the Consulate General of India will visit Abha and Madinah on May 24. The Abha team will stay at Hotel Al Rayah (07-2270654) and the Madinah team at Hotel Le Meridien (04-8460777). The teams will receive applications for consular services from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on May 24. They will return the processed documents of attestations and miscellaneous services on May 25 between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., and deliver new passports on May 31 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Al Waha School Wins Debate Trophy
JEDDAH, 22 May 2007 — Al Waha International School emerged as the winning team at the Al Waha interschool debate competition for 2006-07 held at the Al Falah DPS Auditorium here recently. Hussain Rizwan Khan of Al Waha won the best speaker prize, with Zubair Khan of Pakistan International School and Hamna Masood of Al Waha as second and third best speakers. International Indian School-Jeddah and Al Falah DPS International School were among the other schools that participated in the contest. The subject hotly debated was the “Importance of brand names in our lives.”
