MANAMA, 23 May 2007 — Durrat Al-Bahrain, the Kingdom’s largest planned luxury mixed-use residential, commercial and resort development, announced its participation at Q-REX 2007, the 2nd Qatar International Real Estate and Investment Exhibition that opened yesterday in Doha and will end on May 24. This is the Second time that Durrat Al-Bahrain has marketed the $4 billion island- based lifestyle development directly to prospective investors in Qatar.
The exhibition will attract real estate professionals and investors from across the region and the world to consider the latest real estate trends and investment opportunities in the Qatari and regional market. When completed, Durrat Al-Bahrain will comprise 11 islands of luxury villas, a five star hotel island, as well as the crescent, which will represent the commercial heart of Durrat Al-Bahrain. The development will also boast an Ernie Els-designed 18-hole championship golf precinct.
