JEDDAH, 2 June 2007 — A high-level Dutch mission arrived in Saudi Arabia on Thursday for a five-day business visit aimed at establishing long-term relationships between the Dutch and Saudi companies in the infrastructure sector.
The group is headed by Jan Kamminga, chairman of the trade organization for the technological industrial sector and former commissioner to the Queen of a Netherlands province. The delegation is accompanied by Nicolaas Beets, the Netherlands ambassador to the Kingdom.
Dutch companies in the mission include suppliers of the railway solutions, UPS systems, cabling products, security systems, HVAC systems, and services. These companies are noted as innovative, flexible, specialized companies that deliver state-of--the-art equipment, parts, components and services.
Other companies represented in the mission are: DHV Consultancy & Engineering; Bosch Security Systems; Alcoa for aluminum lighting poles; Saft for UPS, batteries, chargers, inverters; Vialis for railway signaling, level crossing protecting systems; Gemco for turnkey supply of maintenance workshops; TFK for cabling products; Traffic Shelter Systems for traffic shelters; NS Project for Consultancy and Engineering; and Info Logic for information display systems for airports and public transport.
