DAMMAM, 5 June 2007 — International Indian school-Dammam has introduced scouting for the students of Class 8 and 9.
The school will organize a regular and systematic scouts program, which includes first aid, medicine, health care, knots, tracking and camping, on alternate Thursdays of each month.
A formal investiture ceremony of the first group will be held in the school premises tomorrow at 12:30 p.m. The school scout troop consists of 66 scouts and two physical education teachers as scout masters. The program is part of the Bharat Scouts and Guides Movement.
Consular Visits
JEDDAH, 5 June 2007 — Consular teams of the Consulate General of India will visit Makkah and Tabuk on Thursday. The Tabuk team will stay at Hotel Sehaab (04-4211880) and the Makkah team at Indian Haj Mission (02-5761447/5758214).
They will receive applications for consular services from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday and deliver the processed documents the following day between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
New passports will be delivered on June 22 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
