RIYADH, 5 June 2007 — The Girls’ Section of Manarat Jeddah International School will hold an orientation for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) Advanced Supplementary (AS) and Advanced Level (AL) courses for prospective students and their mothers at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the school premises.
“While providing basic information about the school the session will focus on career options and opportunities for higher education,” Motahar Omar, school vice principal, told Arab News
There will be presentations by subject coordinators and group counseling by subject teachers.
The Manarat Jeddah International Girls’ School provides education in an Islamic environment with special focus on teaching of Islamic studies, the Qur’an and Arabic.
The school, headed by Wafaa Ahmed Ashmawi, was established in 1977. It teaches the British curriculum.
