JEDDAH, 7 June 2007 — The Consulate General of India has set up a special Umrah overstayers cell (SUOC) at the community welfare wing of the consulate under the supervision of Rajendra Singh Kharayat, consul (consular and community welfare).
Overstayers who have proof of Umrah visit, proof of Indian nationality and the means to pay for their travel back to India may contact mobile No. 0506225774.
The cell will extend all possible assistance, in consultation with the concerned Saudi authorities, to arrange for early departure of such persons, the consulate said yesterday.
