MAKKAH, 18 June 2007 — The head of the Reconciliation Committee in Makkah, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Khurais, said that the committee is soon to establish a special hotline to allow members of the public to contact them on cases. He added that the committee in Makkah is currently receiving 25 to 30 telephone calls a month and now feels the need to establish a permanent hotline. “The committee is working hard to solve cases and contribute toward building a healthy society,” he said, adding that the committee has so far helped 115 people on death row.
