ABHA, 27 June 2007 — A Yemeni man was trying to sneak into the Kingdom when he was mistaken for a marauding monkey and shot in the chest by an old man, local media reported yesterday. The old man, a farmer with bad eyesight, had been shooting at baboons that were raiding his fruit orchard. When he realized his terrible mistake, the man called an ambulance. The Yemeni is in stable condition and will be deported once he is well enough.
Shabab Busted on Way To Bail Out Bro’
MADINAH, 27 June 2007 — A Saudi shabab (young man) was arrested for a traffic violation on his way to pay the bail for his brother who was detained for a traffic violation, local media reported yesterday. The young man who was initially detained had called his brother to come get him out of jail. Instead, the brother was also arrested for ignoring traffic lights. The two guys ended up spending some quality time with each other.
