RIYADH, 1 July 2007 — Mobily’s new prepaid subscribers would receive an immediate SR75 bonus on their first recharge and 75 SMS text messages distributed equally in the first three months of their subscription, the company said in a statement yesterday.
“Mobily’s prepaid customers receive an initial SR75 worth of credit when they first sign up. Once they recharge with any prepaid amount starting from SR75, they receive an immediate and equal bonus. Then, the first batch of 25 SMS text messages are credited to their subscription.”
Other immediate bonuses include membership in Neqaty, Mobily’s gifts and rewards program, where customers receive a point for every riyal they spend on Mobily products and services.
The program has 10 levels of benefits, with rewards of non-Mobily services available from program partners for the fifth level and above. In the case of prepaid customers, points are only accumulated once credit is used.
Prepaid customers would have the same services enjoyed by postpaid customers, most of which can be set up free of charge.
“Prepaid customers can not only call, send SMS text and MMS multimedia messages, use miss call notification, where an SMS text message is sent to alert you of missed calls, even if your phone is off or out of reach,” it further said.
Other services include Internet blazing fast speeds using HSDPA (short for high-speed downlink packet access), customize ring-back tone with Ranan and location-based services.
