More than 50 customers were declared winners in the first draw of a high-profile summer promotional campaign organized by Pizza Inn in Riyadh on Sunday night. “Surging crowds following the announcement of promotional offers confirm the fact that Pizza Inn brand has reached a high level of recognition and went beyond customers’ expectations in terms of quality,” said Rajendra Shah, Pizza Inn’s head of marketing. Bahrain-based Investcorp’s real estate group has formed a joint venture with Schnitzer West, a leading Seattle area real estate development group, to develop a 1.6 million square foot office, retail and residential project in Bellevue, Washington, outside Seattle. The total value of the transaction exceeds $ 800 million. The mixed-use development, known as The Bravern, is located on a prime, six-acre site in Bellevue’s central business district. 750,000 square feet of office space, in two high-rise office towers, has already been fully leased by Microsoft on a long-term basis. A further 305,000 square feet of luxury retail space will be anchored by a 125,000 square foot flagship Neiman Marcus store. There will also be two 29-story residential towers with 456 luxury one-bedroom, two-bedroom and penthouse condominiums. Construction on The Bravern has been well under way for over a year.

the National Commercial Bank (NCB) has trained and qualified 236 young people seeking employment in the private sector in various regions of the Kingdom. NCB’s CEO Abdulkareem Abu AlNasr said that this program came from the bank’s sense of social responsibility and role to promote nationalization of employment and qualification of human resources to contribute to the local market’s needs for national competencies. He added that courses were within the framework of community service that addressed the unemployment problem through community empowerment of national young cadres, helping them to acquire professional skills that qualify them for the job. NCB’s Head of Community Service Unit Mahmoud Turkistani said: “The number of those attending the courses has reached 165 male and 71 female high school graduates who have been trained in private sector occupations.
