JEDDAH, 10 July 2007 — As part of the seven-day state mourning announced by the Indian government for former Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar, a condolence book will be kept open at the Indian Consulate today and tomorrow from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., according to a consulate statement.
Consular Teams
Consular teams of the Consulate General of India will visit Jizan and Bisha on July 12. The Jizan team will stay at Hotel Atheel (07-3171101) and the Bisha team at Durrat Raghdan Hotel (07-6227373/6223468). They will receive applications for consular services from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, and deliver the processed documents the following day. New passports will be delivered on July 20 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
