JEDDAH, 16 July 2007 — This year’s Jeddah Summer Festival is playing host to several popular pop stars from the region, said Ibrahim Badr, executive director of the tourism administration at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which is in charge of this year’s festival.
Khaled Naqro, event manger for the festival, told Arab News that the festival committee has four concerts planned in which Muhammad Abdu, Abdul Majeed Abdullah, Ebadi Al-Jouhar, Rashid Al-Majed, Hussein Al-Jesmi, Rashid Al-Faris, Ibrahim Hakami and the Khaleej Album Team will be participating.
According to the program chart of the musical events, Rashid Al-Majed, Ibrahim Hakami and the Khaleej Album Team will perform on July 26. Hussein Al-Jesmi and Rashid Al-Farsi are scheduled to sing on July 31 while Abdul Majeed Abdullah and Ebadi Al-Jouhar will perform on Aug. 2.
The events will take place at the Al-Harithy Center for Exhibitions and Conferences on Madinah Road.
