JEDDAH, 22 July 2007 — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah urged the heads of Saudi universities and other centers of higher education to make extra efforts to raise the level of higher education and scientific research so that it may lead to more inventions in all fields and benefit the country and its citizens. King Abdullah issued this directive when Higher Education Minister Khaled Al-Anqari, the presidents of a number of Saudi universities and ministry officials visited the king at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah yesterday. The King also reiterated the need for the preparation of qualified and capable youngsters in every branch of learning.
