DUBAI, 30 July 2007 — Real estate financer Tamweel made an AED108 million net profit in the first half of 2007. Sheikh Khaled ibn Zayed ibn Saqer Al-Nahayan, chairman of Tamweel, yesterday said that net profits in the first half of 2007 reached AED108 million, an increase of 118 percent compared to AED 49.58 million in the first half of 2006.

NCB Introduces New ATM Facilities

BMB Income Jumps 233%

MANAMA, 30 July 2007 — BMB Investment Bank (BMB) has reported 233 percent jump in income to $12.8 million in the first half from $3.8 million during the same period last year. The bank’s operating income before expenses rose by 141 per cent to $20.5 million. (Walid Mazi)

IIB Reports Net Income of $9.6m
