JUBAIL, 21 March 2008 — Jubail International Pearl School (Indian section) in Jubail Industrial City organized its annual sports event at the weekend.
Mrs. Al-Hussan, chief guest of this event addressed the audience and thanked them for their attendance and participation with enthusiasm and true spirit.
She lauded the school principal, Mohammed Aleemuddin Farooqui, and his team for organizing this successful event. She stated that schools should arrange and conduct this kind of activities which plays a vital role in the personality development of children and their physical fitness besides quality education and for the effective teaching learning process.
Students of Jubail International Pearl School participated in about 13 sports and games activities under the supervision and training of Abeer Saed, Physical Education teacher, and the coordinator Farzana Murthuza.
The games included football, basketball, table tennis, running race, among others. Parents of children also joined the fun.
Farooqui thanked the chief guest for giving her valuable time and kind support.
He thanked all the members of the staff, students and the parents’ community for their positive approach and sincere efforts in making this event a grand success. He said, “It doesn’t matter if you win or lose, it’s how you play the game.”
The principal, meantime, announced that the school will be commencing grade 8 in the new academic year starting from April 5 which follows Indian CBSE curriculum.
