JEDDAH: Saudi Aramco handed Jeddah Falcons their third loss 69-56 in the Titan-JBL basketball tournament at Bin Mafouz court on Thalia Street at Al Hamra district here. Saudi Aramco executed its running game well with Aba Hern Ryan dictating the tempo of the game.

Jeddah Falcon retaliated with a series of three point shots in the third quarter. Saudi Aramco was unstoppable in the fourth quarter and the Jeddah Falcons started to feel exhausted as the final buzzer sounded.

Ryan Abahern hit 21 points for Saudi Aramco and was adjudged as the Giordano Best Player of the game, while Dela Cruz and Balmores each added 11 points for Jeddah Falcons.

In the other match, Tropeo played a steady game in the final quarter as the Zuhair Fayez Partnership defeated NetJets Middle East 77-67.

NetJets Middle East had an off night and missed important baskets in the crucial minutes with coach Boy Parto instructing his wards to go for a quick foul to stop the clock. Zuhair Fayez Partnership converted their pressure-packed free throws for their second win.

Lupar led Zuhair Fayez Partnership with 20 points and was adjudged as Titan Best Player of the game, while Rodriguez added 23 points for Netjets Middle East.

Saudi Diyar got their first win at the expense of Al Tuwairqi 68-53. Saudi Diyar bounced back from back-to-back losses with a lot of improvement in their defense. Al Tuwairqi scoring machines Lonzaga and Ortiz tried to reduce the lead in the final quarter but Saudi Diyar went to the open man for the marginal points.

Dela Cruz was unstoppable from all angles and had 30 points for Saudi Diyar to be the Titan Best Player of the game, while Ortiz had 26 points for Al Tuwaiqi.
