- JEDDAH: Chairman of the Arab Tourism Organization (ATO) Bandar Al-Fuhaid stressed Wednesday the key role played by travel and tourism agencies in promoting domestic tourism industry in the Kingdom, particularly by presenting tourist programs and advanced educational and training in the industry.
Al-Fuhaid was opening the new headquarters of the Al-Ahram Travel and Tourism Agency in Al-Hamra district in Jeddah.
A large gathering of leading businessmen and media personalities attended the opening function.
“The new office of the Al-Ahram Travel and Tourism Agency will serve as the head office for its branches in Riyadh, Makkah, Madinah, Al-Lith, Khamis Mushayt, Dammam, and Cairo as well as its Jeddah branch,” said the agency’s director general Adnan Al-Abbasi.
He added that Al-Ahram Travel and Tourism is a leader in the industry, frequently coming up with special attractive offers. “Employing the most advanced electronic system, our dedicated staff offer excellent booking services and provide all required travel information to customers,” he said.
